Secret Sorrows

Every man has his secret sorrows which the world knows not; and often times we call a man cold when he is only sad.

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

This is for you. Yes, you. This is dedicated to you, the person reading this right now. May you find the courage and strength to face this world with a smile and soldier on despite judgement, ridicule, anger and hardships.

My friend, I wish I could just give you a hug through the lines and lines of cables that make online communication possible, but I can only offer you a simple, silent prayer.

My prayer is that the Lord protect, keep and comfort you in your darkest. So that you may shine the same light to others who are going through the same things you are going through right now.

Remember, my friend, you are never alone and this too shall pass. May the Lord blanket you with His loving arms tonight and for the days to come.

Thoughts From My Journal

He who stops being better, stops being good.

Just do what you do best.

Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do.

A man is a sum of his actions, of what he has done, of what he can do. Nothing else.

Action may not always bring happiness, but there is no happiness without.

You prove your worth with your actions, not with your mouth.

The truth of the matter is that you will always know the right thing to so. The hard part is doing it.

Try not. Do, or do not. There is no try.

Ego trip: A journey to nowhere.

Listening to advice often accomplishes far more than heeding it.

It is a dangerous thing to think that we know everything.
